BILT is an annual event, designed to cater to the needs of those who design, build, operate and maintain our built environment. As a community of professionals, it is committed to improving the many ways the industry works together.
Don’t miss out on this fantastic event which brings a multitude of opportunities and benefits together in a single location at the Radisson Blu Latvija Conference & Spa Hotel, Riga. As a 'by users, for users' event, BILT is the best place to get real advice from people who seriously know their stuff, yet continue to learn themselves. Business leaders, thought leaders, innovators and implementers; they are all part of our community and ready to share their secrets to aid in the quest for a better, smarter industry, and a stronger, more sustainable built environment.
In today’s complex landscape, both in Europe and across the world, we are presented with opportunities to enact positive change amidst the glaring challenges of decades-high interest rates, geopolitical deadlocks, a housing crisis coupled with widespread commercial vacancies, and, most pressingly, the climate emergency (or even it’s denial!!). That being said, it’s crucial to recognise in these troubled circumstances that the built environment, accounting for approximately 40% of global resource consumption, holds unprecedented potential for transformative impact.
The Green Deal, EU Taxonomy / Sustainable Finance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESGs) considerations are ushering in a new era of investment practices, while the increasing transparency of data and the dismantling of information silos through BIM and other digital innovations are reshaping the landscape of information management. Year-on-year, we are consistently inspired by the level of innovation and collaborative spirit of the BILT community. It is within this dynamic context that we invite you to share your expertise and insights with your peers, addressing these challenges head-on.
